Friendly Indoor RC Racing in the Heart of Worcestershire
Welcome to Evesham Micro Racers, a friendly indoor radio-controlled race club dedicated to exciting Mini-Z and 1/28th scale racing. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to the hobby, or an experienced racer looking for some close competition, you’ll find a warm welcome at our club.
We meet once a month on a Sunday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at the Hampton Guide and Scout Hall, Pershore Road, Hampton, Evesham.
Our race meetings are held on a genuine Kyosho Grand Prix modular race circuit, providing a professional racing surface with plenty of fast straights and technical corners to test your driving skills. Every lap is recorded using our EasyLap electronic timing system, ensuring accurate results and close, competitive racing throughout the afternoon.
New to RC Racing?
Never raced before? No problem!
If you’d like to see what it’s all about, come along and have a go. We have loan cars available, so you don’t need to own a car to experience the excitement of racing.
We’ll help you get on track, explain how race meetings work and make sure you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

Our aim is simple – to provide fun, friendly and competitive racing for everyone.
Whether you’re racing a standard Mini-Z, or a modified 1/28th chassis you’ll enjoy close racing and plenty of track time in a relaxed atmosphere. Our members are always happy to share advice, help with car setup or simply chat about the hobby.
Why Race With Us?
Our race meetings are designed to be enjoyable for everyone. We usually begin with open practice sessions, giving drivers plenty of time to learn the circuit, fine-tune their cars and enjoy some casual track time. Later in the afternoon, we run a series of friendly organised races for anyone who would like to take part, some days we just have open practice all afternoon.

Racing Classes
We run a range of classes designed to keep the racing close, competitive and enjoyable for drivers of all abilities.
Box Stock Mini-Z
The perfect class for beginners and experienced racers alike.
Box Stock Mini-Z cars remain largely standard, making this class affordable, reliable and all about driver skill. With closely matched cars, the racing is incredibly close and often comes down to consistency rather than outright speed. You can buy a Mini-Z and pretty much race it out of the box, although we always recommend upgrading the tyres first.

1/28th 2WD Modified
Ready for more performance?
Our 2WD Modified class is for higher-performance 1/28th scale chassis such as the Kyosho Mini-Z EVO Brushless, the Team Associated RC28R and other similar cars. These lightweight, agile racers offer increased speed, tuning options and plenty of opportunities to fine-tune your setup.
If you enjoy developing your car and chasing faster lap times, this is the class for you.

If you’re new to the hobby or unsure which car is right for you, come along and have a chat. Our members are always happy to offer advice and help you choose a class that suits your budget and experience.
If you don’t own a car yet, we also have loan cars available, so you can experience a race meeting before deciding what you’d like to buy.

Join us for an afternoon of exciting indoor RC racing for just £10, giving you 4 hours of racing on our professional Kyosho Grand Prix circuit with fully electronic EasyLap timing.
Whether you’re a regular racer or visiting for the first time, we’d love to see you. If you’re new to the hobby, don’t worry—we have loan cars available so you can experience the fun before investing in your own.

Race Fee: £10 per driver
Race Time: Sunday, 2:00pm – 6:00pm (monthly meetings)
Venue & Track Information
- Hampton Guide and Scout Hall, Pershore Road, Hampton, Evesham. WR11 2PQ.
- Free parking is available at the venue.
- Drivers of all experience levels are welcome.
- Loan cars are available for first-time visitors.
- We use the EasyLap Timing System, your car will need a EasyLap transponder if you want to record your lap times. These cost about £25.
- No Shoes on the track they will damage the surface.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Evesham Micro Racers is affiliated to the BRCA. You can visit three times as a guest, after which you’ll need to join the BRCA (adult licence £30/year) – we’ll advise you on this at your first meeting. The BRCA licence provides insurance, a rules booklet, and supports the sport’s governing body.
